12prod est une association loi 1901 basée à Lille (France), composée de plus de 10 membres actifs dont 4 selectas, 2 MCs, un attaché à la vidéo, un ingénieur son, un graphiste etc... 

Créé dans la ville de Caen (Normandie) en 1999, le 220 sound est né de la passion commune de 3 jeunes musiciens Critik, Néko et Yaniko rapidement rejoints par Killa B.
Après avoir accumulé des dizaines et des dizaines de 45 tours jamaïcains et travaillé dans l’ombre afin d’apprendre à mixer et animer, c’est le temps des premières scènes. A ce moment, il n’y avait aucun sound system dans la région, il a donc fallu réaliser un travail en profondeur pour développer cette culture d’origine jamaïcaine et fidéliser un public.

Wir sind drei Boys aus Westafrika ( Gambia ) und nennen uns das Bobo Youths Sound System.
Unser Leben für die Musik hat 1998 damit begonnen, dass wir auf unseren selbstorganisierten Partys Reggae,-Ragga, Ndagga -und Dancehall Vibes als DJ`s auflegten.
Inzwischen können wir guten Gewissens behaupten, dass unser Name den Reggaefans aus Bremen und Umgebung gut bekannt ist. Bei unseren Partys sind unsere Liveauftritte mit selbstgeschriebenen Songs mittlerweile ein fester Bestandteil, dabei arbeiten wir auch mit anderen MC`s wie Hummi und Dirty Darcy Soundsystems zusammen .
Seit Anfang 2003 machen wir unsere eigenen Vibes mit der Band "Pray-Sing-Well", die uns auch bei unseren Studioaufnahmen begleitet. Die Texte unserer Songs stammen sämtlichst aus eigener Feder und beziehen sich auf unseren Rastafari-Glauben, Consciousness , Righteousness und Perfect Peace & Perfect Love.
Wir wollen mit unserer Musik eine Message rüberbringen.

CITY HEAT SOUND is the hottest sound West Indian sound system in South Florida. The bubbling trio are Wayne Personality Hylton, DJ Zodiac and Jason Hylton. The inspiration comes from St Elizabeth, Jamaica, but the vibe is international. The crew is at home mixing down reggae as they are with hip hop, r&b, reggae and other flavas. 

Covenant Soundsystem started originally as a radioshow with a Dutch pirate station, this was in '97. It was called sound of covenant at that time, just being one selecter. Soon Ital Youth started being asked to do selections at reggae shows at the 013 and Effenaar concerthalls. Warming up the crowd for singers and bands like Ziggy Marley, Burning Spear, Third World, Morgan Heritage, Israel Vibration and many more. It didn't take long to link up with another bredrin called Dub Tuan a longtime reggae lover and selecter. 

Big Big sound de Paname 

Driven by the love for reggae and dancehall music, we decided to build up our own sound somewhere in '95. We started playing a mix of reggae/ragga/jungle in a local bar in Antwerp (Belgium) on a weekly basis. As guests on the program "Wake the town", hosted by Karel Michiels on Radio Centraal, we got our first opportunity to play on air. 

Early in 1998 the two selectors Junior Swizz and Einstein worked for the first time together on stage. Before that they both worked independently – mainly on HipHop events – and promoted Dancehall and Reggae to the audience.
Towards the end of 1999 they decided together with Dave Marshal, the current manager
of the crew, to found a soundsystem under the future name of Goldrush International.
The official launch party was a big success and the beginning of an entire series of
dancehall events with well known international guests which took place in the Bernese
club “Wasserwerk”.

WICKED FACE (born in Kingston, Jamaica) started listening to dancehall reggae sound system tapes at the age of 13. Namely King Addies and Stone Love. Roary, one of the top selectors from Stone Love, was one of the greatest influences in Face's life.



While attending Excelsior High, Wicked Face thought of forming his own sound system called Love Rock. He would save his lunch money to buy records and make tapes for his classmates.



In 1993 one of Face's good friends, Malcolm X, introduced him to Red Man, the owner of Jam Rock Sound who was once a Stone Love Selector. Jam Rock ace selector, Dup Dap, named him Baby Face. From Jam Rock, Face moved to Metro Media, where he started to make a name for himself. Later in 1996, an American based clash sound, Katarock, recruited Face. While with Katarock, he changed his name to Wicked Face because of the clashes he played in. During his six years playing with Katarock, Wicked Face matured into a clash./war selector.

There are over 200 sound systems in Jamaica to date, but when the question is asked as to which is the champion and reigning king of them all, without hesitation the response is ‘Stone Love’. Stone Love made their entry into the dancehall business in 1972 and for the past 27 years it has been the sound systems with he most potent and magnetic force to pull crowds and ‘cork’ any dancehall. 

Abassi Hi Power is the custom built 12 kilowatt Sound System that is run out of Cologne, Germany by perch of Zion Train. The Sound System specializes in heavyweight dub sessions and features perch at the controls, Dubdadda and Fitta warri on the microphone, King Bee and Ras Imo .
